Client Description
Our client is a Japan base glass manufacturing company providing a wide range of solution for global clients. To cope with continues growth they are now urgently looking for a Facade Engineer to join the team in Hong Kong
Job Description
- Report to HQ in Japan/Singapore & top management of HK office
- Strong and diverse technical background with effective presentation skills
- Able to use CAD software to create designs and solve technical issues
- Familiarity with construction trends, international design standard and building regulations in HK
- Wide network of building professionals and property
- Able to multitask and a good team player
- Coordination with clients, architects, consultants, façade contractors, suppliers and other project team members
- Supervision of construction, site inspection and training of constructors
- Preparation of technical submissions, proposals and documentation
- Preparation of quotations and other sales terms & conditions
- Formulation and execution of sales strategies and business objectives
- Business trip is required
- Preparation of periodic reports
Job Requirements
- Degree in Architecture, Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
- 4-7 years of project management experience in designing position of curtain wall company is preferred, or the façade and construction industry.
- Well-versed in Auto CAD, Proficiency in MS office and PowerPoint
- Good knowledge of design standards, façade building materials, building regulations and installation techniques
- Knowledgeable about Façade material, structural calculation and project Management
- Strong analytical, organization and communication skills
- Fluency in spoken and written English, Chinese & Cantonese
- Good understanding of market and customer needs
- Able to interpret data and substantiate recommendations
