• Work with project sponsor and stakeholders to complete project charter, scope, goals, deliverables, required resources, budget and timing (full planning)
• Manage project prioritization & interdependencies/integration
• Manage and assess overall risk and issues across projects
• Develop solutions to address risks, issues, interdependencies
• Manage project KPIs, budgets and costs
• Ensure project documentation are complete, relevant and properly archived and accessible
• Directly manage project functional resources and budget planning
• Allocate resources across different projects
• People Management - Able to communicate effectively with internal business and IT teams, and effectively make sound management decisions
• Coach and lead the functional project team(s) to constantly challenge self and display professionalism
• Vendor / Third Party Management - Conduct periodic performance and KPI reviews with vendors based on agreed contractual terms
• Keep a solid working relationship with vendors and manage escalations as required
• Manage billing, payments and contract negotiation as required
• Expert level technical knowledge of current technologies, protocols and standards for networking, telephony, security, virtualization, DBMS, Active Directory, Internet, collaboration tools and operating systems.
• Proven track record of implementing large scale IT infrastructure projects including WAN, LAN, Data Centre, Telephony, Contact Centre, Collaboration services and Security
• Total 10+ years of relevant experience in IT infrastructure & operations. At least 5+ years work experience in core infrastructure architecture design
• Hands on knowledge in all relevant task in the infrastructure life cycle from design, configuration, installation, patching, upgrading, creation, monitoring, sizing, tuning, replication, backup, recovery
• Understanding of web integration technologies and middleware
• Exposure to designing data center migration and transformation strategies
• Exposure to designing Disaster Recovery solution
• Exposure to Private & Public Cloud solution, act as hosting & cloud subject matter experts
• Exposure to standard operating environments
• Exposure to core datacenter technologies
• Networking, Network convergence & Network Security & Compliance
• Exposure to a variety of Server Hardware Platforms
• Exposure to Storage, SANs & Managed Back-up
• Exposure to Virtualization (VMware, vSphere or MS Hyper-V)
• Exposure to Databases - Oracle, DB2 , MS SQL & MySQL
• Experience in Middleware
• Exposure to Unix and Linux (preferably AIX and Red Hat)
• Exposure to MS Windows Server, Active Directory and Directory federation services
• Exposure to core client technologies, including Microsoft Windows
• Exposure to Citrix technologies
• Exposure to Infrastructure and application management and monitoring
• Exposure to providing high level designs and governing the implementation of ERP in the retail and wholesale landscape
• Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems independently and to generate innovative solutions
