Leading telecom carrier and IT solutions company
• Provide support for the day-to-day operations of 7x24 round the clock services
• Understanding business technology drivers to support DEVOPS process
• Provide support for environmental monitoring, automated deployment, and continuous integration
• Maintaining the security and consistency of source code repositories
• Partner with vendors, external service providers and internal development team and incorporating them as an extension of the team for DEVOPS processing.
• Working shifts or be on call
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related fields
• 2 years of experience working on Infrastructure or Platform Support
• Strong experience in Linux/Unix Administration and Internet protocols.
• Ability to use a wide variety of open source technologies and cloud services (experience with AWS and Google is required).
• A working understanding of SQL and MySQL (e.g. NoSQL, Mongo and Redis), code and script (e.g. PHP, Python and Perl) and configuration management (Jenkins, Ansible, Docker and Git).
• Knowledge of best practices in operational processes, DevOps, deployment checklists, and more.
• Knowledge of best practices and IT operations in an always-up, always-available service.
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Experience with Monitoring and log analytics tools (e.g. Elastic Search, Splunk, Grafana, Graphite, InfluxDB, Cacti)
