Responsibilities
• Plan and execute project activities under the responsible areas or team.
• Interact effectively with internal & external customers.
• Conduct detailed user requirements analysis and design.
• Perform application system analysis, design and enhancement.
• Ensure all agreed products and deliverables meet schedule and the required level of quality.
• Manage the programming resources to ensure the compliance of defined development standard.
• Analyze issues raised and devise solution for the issues.
• Facilitate communication and manage technical issues and personnel.
• Update system documentations & deliver the agreed products or project deliverables.
• Monitor and keep track of tasks assigned to team members.
• University degree in Computer Science or related disciplines.
• At least 7 years of IT experience.
• At least 3 years of system analysis and design experience in Data Warehouse, J2EE applications.
• Strong in J2EE, Java, MS SQL, PL/SQL
• Strong sense of responsibility and eager to learn.
• Development / support experience in JBoss platform is preferable.
• Strong analytical and interpersonal communication skills, and highly presentable.
• With Team Leading experience would be an advantage.
• Familiar with Government IT project(s) would be an advantage.
• Knowledge and experience in either one of the following data analysis techniques would be an advantage: Data mining to find correlations, patterns, associations or relationships among structured data / Text mining to perform text categorization, text clustering, concept/entity extraction, generation of taxonomies of concept , document summarization, and learning relations between named entities / Social Network Analysis (SNA) to analyze contact tracing records
• Strong in using statistical software (SAS, Excel, etc.) would be an advantage.
• Experience in data conversion and migration would be an advantage.
