Candidates with less experience will be warmly considered for the Assistant Product Development Manager position.
• Drive the entire product creation and development cycle, moving smoothly from initial ideation and research to final implementation.
• Manage the end-to-end rollout of new insurance products while optimizing the value proposition, distribution channels, and development processes.
• Build and maintain strong collaborative relationships with internal business counterparts and external partners.
• Ensure all product development activities are conducted with high integrity and strictly adhere to established risk control guidelines.
• Construct comprehensive product collaterals to secure necessary internal and regulatory approvals.
• Continuously analyze market intelligence to stay ahead of market trends regarding insurance products, services, and customer journeys.
• Lead a small team and actively nurture junior staff members to support their professional growth.
• Hold a university degree in a relevant discipline, with a strong preference for actuarial science, finance, or business administration.
• Possess at least 5 years of hands-on experience in the insurance industry, preferably within product development, product marketing, channel development, or actuarial depth.
• Demonstrate proficiency in both spoken and written English and Chinese, including the ability to read and write Chinese.
• Exhibit strong business acumen, a customer-centric mindset, and excellent analytical skills.
• Maintain the ability to effectively communicate complex issues and solutions with various stakeholders.
• Show agility and strong execution capabilities in a fast-paced environment.
• Bring solid product knowledge in ILAS or saving products, as candidates with only digital experience and limited product knowledge will not be considered.
