Legal Counsel - EW
Client Description
Our client is a listed telecommunication company, one of the largest Mobile Telecom in China. She is urgently looking for a Legal Counsel to join their expanding team.
Job Description
- Handle and manage dispute matters and litigation cases
- Prepare and revise internal guidelines / policies and reports on dispute matters
- Work closely with internal commercial and technical departments on dispute matters
- Coordinate with external legal advisers and manage their work in relation to litigation cases
- Draft and review day-to-day commercial contracts, and take part in contract negotiation
- Draft and regularly update templates of contracts and legal documentation
- Assist on M&A and investment projects and other ad-hoc projects Conduct internal training on legal topics
Job Requirements
- Registered lawyer in Hong Kong or other common law jurisdictions with at least 6 – 8 years’ PQE
- Solid experience of handling litigation matters and commercial contract drafting gained in reputable law firms and in-house environment
- Experience gained from telecommunications industry and Chinese SOEs is highly preferred
- Proficient in English and Chinese (with ability to read, write and speak as working language)
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and attentive to details
