Candidate with less experience will be considered as Database Manager
Responsibilities
• Lead the database administration team
• Perform DB management, monitoring the routine maintenance tasks, such as implement backup and index maintenance, as well as monitor SQL server performance
• Develop SQL Server Stored Procedures, Views, and Functions
• Work collaboratively with appropriate teammates to maximize efficient use of database to address needs of specific area
• Recommend database management software and lead the development of concept activities
• Fine-tune T-SQL queries and enforce standard coding based on best practices
• Deploy changes on schema, modules and data from development to staging, and staging to production environment
• Maintain database high availability and ensure all production system works properly
• Degree holder in Information Technology, Computer Science or relevant discipline
• At least 8 years’ experience in database management and Microsoft SQL Server (MySQL is plus), with management experience is an advantage
• Knowledge in development of SQL Server Stored Procedure is definitely an advantage
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills
• Excellent troubleshooting skill and performance tuning
