Client Description
Our client, a listed large-scale and leading telecommunications and integrated information services operator is urgently seeking a Legal Counsel to join their expanding team
Job Description
- Provide first-line legal advice and assistance in relation to commercial agreements and investment projects
- Responsible for contract reviewing, drafting and negotiation
- Manage and regularly update of contract templates
- Contribute to regional compliance under company law and telecom regulations for regional offices in Asia Pacific
- Research on local regulatory and other legal requirements
- Documentation of internal procedures
- Provide on-going advice and periodic training to business teams
- Occasional travel is required
Job Requirements
- Hong Kong or Singapore admitted lawyer with at least 4+ years' PQE corporate law experience
- Experience in telecom industry and/or M&A/Investment projects is preferred
- Ability to draft legal documents in both English and Chinese
- General legal knowledge in other common law jurisdictions will be an advantage
- Excellent command of both spoken and written English and Chinese, including Cantonese and Mandarin
