Client Description
Our client, a Hong Kong listed beverage company with presences globally is urgently seeking a Senior Risk Manager to join their expanding team
Job Description
- Responsible for initiating the team direction to cope with the development of Group Risk Management Function
- Take a leading role in the development, implementation and maintenance of Enterprise Risk Management Framework
- Define risk and divide it into sub level of risks in the Group’s Risk Classification and maintain risk registers as it relates to the risk and each of its sub-risks
- Work with risk stakeholders to conduct “Risk Assessment” annually
- Identify all potential new risks and ensure that the Risk Assessment of that risk reflects any changes in the Group’s existing activities or infrastructure
- Provide recommendation, develop and determine the most appropriate way to represent Group’s tolerance for it in its Risk Appetite
- Develop/update new Risk Management Policy, Risk Management Guideline and Procedures and Terms of Reference in relation to the risk and implement them as part of risk governance
- Act as the key contact point on overall risks with Primary Risk Owners, ensuring that they have the relevant tools and assistance to identify, evaluate and mitigate the risk
- Lead the team to conduct comprehensive research into specific risks/ new identified risks, in order to provide insights and recommendation for Group Management/ Country CEOs and Enterprise Risk Management Executive Committee
- Handle ad-hoc tasks of department
Job Requirements
- University degree holder in Risk Management, Accounting, Audit, Finance or Law or related discipline is preferred
- Over ten years of experience working in risk management, compliance or internal audit at sizable corporation or in the risk area of a global consultancy
- Relevant risk management experience in food and beverage, utilities and FMCG industries is an added advantage
- Poses constructive and supportive attitude, ability to influence people and promote change
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written, able to work effectively with a variety of stakeholders and to build strong relationships
- Able to cope under pressure, keen to work in partnership with User Departments from different geographical locations to seek positive outcomes
- Analytical mindset with an enthusiasm for learning new things, researching issues and developing new insights on established and emerging issues.
- Inclined to question and challenge and to seek understanding of issues while always maintaining the respect of stakeholders
- Willingness to travel
