US-based IT service vendor
• Business development and strategy for new/existing (as applicable) customers in CIS practice
• Proactively educate, generate interest and demand in IT Infrastructure Services with industry vertical teams and their customers
• Become a virtual member of the Vertical team and activate industry and sales teams on positioning CIS with the identified clients
• Present corporate solution offerings and capabilities to customers, clearly articulating our value proposition and differentiators with right alignment with Solution Architects
• Prepare account plans and develop account penetration strategy for target accounts
• Manage opportunity pipeline of CIS opportunities within assigned vertical teams
• Responsible for owning and driving the complete lifecycle of RFI/RFP response process
• Understand customer requirements and provide appropriate solution and delivery approach in conjunction with the Global Solution Center that will meet customer requirements towards bid fulfillment
• Responsible for developing bid strategy, deal structure and pricing for proposals and utilize these as a leverage to maximize opportunity to win business and profitability
• Responsible for deal review, executive summary, pricing, value proposition section of proposals
• Manage and drive resourcing needs with clients through resource operations organization to ensure we deliver the right resources within committed timeframes
• Manage transition and handover post deal closing to Service Delivery teams
• The role is focused on Hong Kong market.
• At least 12 years of relevant business development experience in Information Technology Infrastructure Outsourcing, offshoring, managed services, professional/consulting services
• Excellent communications skills (both verbal and written); Mandarin and Cantonese would be an advantage
• Experience with a global delivery model
• Strong technical acumen with delivery/transition experience
• Experience in managing RFI/RFP response process
• Experience in drawing up solutions
• Exposure to various pricing models
• Strong leadership skills with ability to operate in a virtual team structure
• Motivated, self-starter who does not require significant over site
• Comfortable with traveling (up to 30%) to China region where required.
