Project Lead (HRIS & Payroll)

Job Description

• Project lead to manage project coordination and supports the rollout of the payroll administration study and implementation across 11 Asia markets.
• Focusing on both quality and practicality, and in close partnership with all regional and local partners/stakeholders in an inclusive manner, this role is also responsible to drive HR project activities to be completed on time, within scope and budget.
• Oversee all project activities against planned timelines; anticipate and identify issues and risks related to the project, and propose sound solutions and/or mitigation steps where necessary
• Compile comprehensive and accurate project plans and project status reports
• Ensure continuous alignment and collaboration on project activities across project team members and project partners/stakeholders
• Manage communication to drive smooth execution of project deliverables
• Coordinate/conduct project consultation and feedback activities with the HR community (including regional COEs, country HR operations) and external consultants
• Lead or facilitate project teams or working groups
• Collate data, research and benchmarking activities where the project requires
• Support project team members with completing detailed project tasks when necessary
• Improve processes and reinforce sustainability of the future payroll administration model
• Develop metrics on payroll processes & performance measurement
• Analyze and report on these metrics for future improvement

 

Job Requirements

• University Degree
• 8 years of human resources operations or project management experiences
• Understanding of payroll operations and/or experience in payroll consolidation projects a plus
• Experience in data collection and analysis desirable
• Experience in managing projects that involve external consultants
• Analytical / Attentive to Detail – the ability to demonstrate critical thinking capability; the ability to visualize concepts and accordingly formulate into project plans
• Collaborative – actively partnering with stakeholders to drive the project through its critical milestones
• Effective & Facilitative Communication – the ability to translate human resources requirements into technical specifications and vice versa; the ability to produce high quality written communications and documentations in a timely manner; the ability to present project milestones in an organized and comprehensive manner
• Result Driven / Follow-through – the ability to mediate differences and facilitate constructive discussions to ensure project goals are achieved
