Our client, a Hong Kong and China listed food company with presences in 12 countries is urgently seeking a Senior Public Relations Manager to join their expanding team
Job Description
- Responsible for setting up public appearances, handling conflicts and keeping the public updated on vital company information
- Develop the marketing and promotional strategies and formulate the framework and program in order to support the company
- Cultivate positive presence in trade media through releases, contact and responsiveness to inquiries/requests
- Maintain clear and consistent communication
- Develop materials on complex issues
- Develop and cultivate relationship with external audiences
- Liaise with PR agencies, media and production houses.
- Handle special media inquiries
- Recommend and implement initiatives that improve the public's perception
Job Requirements
- University graduate in Journalism, Marketing or Communications
- At least 8 years PR agency or in-house experience
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Excellent writing and editing skills
- Solutions-oriented self-starter with the desire to grow
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage complex projects across a variety of functions
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects with changing priorities
- Experience in developing and executing corporate PR campaigns programs and crisis/ issue management
- Solid expertise in creating and implementing media outreach and response strategies for both offline and online media
- Proficiency in managing the creation of PR materials, PR tools, PR measurement and social media tools
- Native Mandarin and fluent English
