Systems Analyst (Insurance)

Job Description

• Participate in application development and enhancement of Insurance projects
• Collect user requirements, perform system analysis and design and system development
• Prepare test plan, test cases/scripts, test environments, data and perform testing
• Coordinate with presales tasks, including but not limited to conducting Proof-of Concept exercise, Solution Development, conducting presentation and demonstration to our clients
• Preparation of response to tenders or RFP / RFQ
• Prepare system and operation documentation

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree holder in Computer Science, Information Technology or related disciplines
• A minimum of 6 years’ experience in IT profession with a minimum of 3 years’ experience as Systems Analyst or equivalent
• Hands-on experience in requirements analysis, functional design, testing and/or implementation of Insurance systems and/or applications is a MUST
• Possess technical knowledge in VB .Net and DB2 technology
• Experience in Informix and Java will be an added advantage
• Effective verbal and written communication in English and Chinese (both Cantonese and Putonghua)
• Good leadership, analytical, interpersonal and problem solving skills
• Positive attitude, fast-learning, energetic and able to perform in challenging environment
