Merchandising Manager (China) - Luxury Retail
Client Description

Our client, a luxury retailer carrying over a hundred of high-end fashion & designer brands in optical industry, is looking for a Merchandising Manager to lead their team.

Job Description
  • Direct report to Senior Merchandising Manager
  • Manager the merchandising team for China region
  • Manage product / brand mix across different retail stores
  • Liaise with suppliers on terms negotiation, brand & order management
  • Work on the initial stock planning and replenishment down to retail level
  • Drive sales revenue by communicating with District Sales Manager to push inventory to the optimal level & maximize stock efficiency
  • Provide data analysis, product sourcing & buying support to support OTB budget
  • Frequent travel is required
Job Requirements
  • University degree holder in Business or related discipline
  • Min. 6 years in retail planning / buying in luxury industry with at least 3 years on a managerial level. Merchandising experience in multi-brand retail chain / department stores is preferable
  • Good command of written and spoken English & Chinese; Mandarin is a must
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel & Data Analysis
  • Immediate available is preferred
  • Willing to travel
