Job Description

Candidates with less experience will be considered as Associate Director / Senior Manager of Innovation Solutions team.

 

Responsibilities

 

• Focus on advanced and innovative solutions – digital transformation consulting, big data, cloud, applied analytic, smart video analytic etc.
• He/She needs to identify and shape client propositions, develop and execute client engagement plans to drive the opportunities from origination to sales closure.
• He/She is responsible for service delivery management or high-valued application development, SI and maintenance and operation of the projects under the solutions centre, supported by project managers and directors.
• Manage and monitor the budget and control costs to ensure maximum achievement of revenue and margin.
• Establish network with partners and ecosystems for innovation and cooperation.
• Drive the co-creation of innovation solutions with group's internal and external partners.
• Provide thought leadership and PoV of digital transformation for HK and Greater Bay Area.
• Collaborate with regional Innovation Centres and other region business teams and gain synergy
• Shape and drive the key initiatives regarding digital transformation for clients.
• In charge of financial metrics and related KPI in Hong Kong and aggressive YOY revenue growth.
• Strategize and build competences to support projects and opportunities.
• Need to identify addressable market opportunities and provide guidance in setting business targets and working towards company goals.
• Attract and retain highly skilled and quality staff in the current job market.
• Board knowledge and experiences in variety of industries and job types
• Identify and track market trends, emerging technologies and technology disruption so as to implement strategies and action plans for new opportunities, competition and threats in the IT industry.
• Uncertainty arising from volatile market factors such as change in government policies, competitive landscape and disruptive technologies driving automation.
• Strong ability to conceptualize and actualize visionary strategies and provide leadership to defend and entrench our core business in the current intensifying competitive landscape.
• Innovatively harness latent synergies to improve competitiveness and productivity through greater offshore leverage, workforce refresh and retention as well as capability/ quality enhancement.
• Establish strong brand equity and position company as the market leader for service delivery
• Strong stakeholder management and ability to engage key customer management for win-win negotiations on project scope, deliverables and contractual obligations

Job Requirements

• Degree in Information Systems or Computer Science or equivalent.
• Minimum 15 years relevant work experience with expertise and proven experience in Software Design & Development.
• Strong technical experience in System and/or Applications Architecture Design for large-scale projects.
• Strong technical experience in Reference Architecture Definition.
• Ability to conceptualize and create the most efficient and appropriate solution for a software development project; taking into consideration the integration of various components, identification and mitigation of known technical risks, application of architectural principles, technology standards and industry best practices.
• Proven track record and proficient in both Application and Infrastructure Design for large scale projects.
• Strong leadership skills with proven track record of leading large teams.
• Strong people management and problem solving skills.
• Strong communication, negotiation, presentation and inter-personal skills.
• Ability to think strategically, identify and understand business needs and translate into strategic plans and solutions.
• Highly adaptable and collaborative.
• Ability to adapt and rise to the occasion under high pressure and possess strong crisis management skills.
• Mature people management skills, budget management and experience in building teams.
• Strong customer-service orientation. Works well in multicultural workplace.
• Proven record of successful staff management in areas of recruitment, performance appraisal and professional development.
